How to make coffee at home

Been loving coffee at workspace/restaurants but still confused about how to make some in the easiest way possible. So many different ways, types of coffee - ground, instant, strong, cold and many more. Don't worry we've got your needs covered with our quick guide on how to make coffee at home to last you through those long projects, nights and classes.


For this, you won't even require those expensive coffee makers. Just some easy steps and some basic ingredients to get yourself some warm coffee.




Heat water

1. Boil a cup of water


First of all, you will need to boil a cup of water. Use a kettle, as it will be easier to pour into a mug. Heat up a cup of water (240ml) for 1 serving. Use more water as per your needs. Heat it until it starts to boil.



Add coffee
2. Add Coffee

Check the label of your coffee container to get the best results and then add the specified amount to the mug. Generally, companies advise using 1 teaspoon for 1 cup (240ml of water).



Add cold water
3. Dissolve the coffee with cold water

Add a tablespoon of cold water to the mug and mix it. Cold water will enhance the flavour. Stir it gently so as to maintain its flavour.



Add hot water
4. Add the boiled water

Carefully pour the hot water into the mug. Remember to leave some room for milk, if you don't like black coffee. 1/4th of the mug is enough for the milk.



Add Sugar
5. Add Sugar

For a richer flavour, add a teaspoon of sugar.

If you don't like black coffee, then add milk (60ml) to the mug. For a slightly strong coffee, you could reduce it to half (30ml).



Stir the mug gently
7. Stir

Stir your coffee until it has a uniform colour throughout to make sure that milk and sugar are evenly mixed.
